Studies on the Promotion of Berry Set in ¢¥ Kyoho ¢¥ Grape (vitis vinifera L. ¡¿ V. labruscana L.) by Growth Regulators

Abstract
This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of KT-30 on the berry enlargement and streptomycin on the seedlessness in `Kpoho¢¥ grape. The results were summarized as follows.
1. The treatment of GA©ý 25ppm plus KT-30 5 to 20ppm at 7 days after full bloom increased the berry weight about 30%, but the level of anthocyanin in the berry skin was significantly decreased.
2. The prebloom treatment of GA©ý 25ppm plus streptomycin 200, 400ppm induced the 90% seedless berry, but the berry weight was not significant difference among the all treatments.
3. The prebloom treatment of streptomycin 200ppm produced over 90% seedless berrw, but the unstable berry setting and the reduction of berry weight were observed.
4. The treatment of GA©ý 25ppm plus streptomycin 200ppm at 14 days before full bloom thereafter GA©ý 25ppm alone or plus KT-30 10ppm treatment at 7 and 14 days after full bloom produced the 100% seedless berry and outstandingly increased the normal berry number and the cluster weight. While this treatment significantly reduced titratable acidity in the juice and anthocyanin content in the berry skin.
5. The treatment of GA©ý and GA©ý plus streptomycin exhibited high content of reducing and total sugar as compared to the untreated control and the treatment of streptomycin. The treatment of streptomycin and GA©ý plus streptomycin reduced the starch content since 15 daps after treatment.
